I splurged!

Yay! I finally paid a visit to the most hyped about clothing store that came by our shores lately, Cotton On originally from Australia. This one at 1 Utama is the second flagship after the first one opened in Pavilion KL back in September or October. Anyhoo! It was such good buys coz it was only RM60 for 2 and they come in all sorts of designs. I had my pick at one classic white ones coz I know they make me look more girly =) and another checkered blue-ish yellow one that sorta looks like boxers. Also got myself two pairs of sunnies, one with purple frame and another one in black. Wheeee!!! Can't wait to put them in full use.

I'm already wearing these to work today. But they had to endure walking through fallen branches and damp soil. Awww they are still in tip top condition though.

Wheeee <3 style="text-align: center;">
I adore these checkered ones coz they are just too pretty to be true. My feet are spoiled, very very spoiled. Go Cotton On!

From now on Cotton On is gonna be my go-to store for anything at all coz it's so affordable with quality. Mmmm me likeys =)

New Found Recipe

Ok so the fridge and pantry was empty, no groceries at all. All we had left was pasta, erm potatoes sprouting shoots, funions and lotsa garlic. So why not throw everything together and see how it'd taste like.

Step 1: Boil pasta in a pot.
Step 2: Cut potatoes and chop garlic and funions.
Step 3: Heat oil in pan.
Step 4: Fry chopped garlic and funions.
Step 5: Stir fry potatoes with black pepper and basil leaves.
Step 6: Add in fried garlic and onions.
Step 7: Remove from pan. Put boiled pasta in pan to fry for a couple of minutes.
Step 8: Add black pepper and salt followed by previous batch of stir-fried condiments.

Voila! And it's ready to be served!

Hmm pop music these days

Is it just me or everyone's going Gaga-style.
Note: rubber tight body suit, observe Beyonce's Single Ladies video and all most of Lady Gaga's videos.

And here's a piece of our tween queen, Miley Cyrus. For god sake that's not even her given birth name. I reckon she's kinda hot if only she'd keep her mouth shut. Tall, slim brunette hah! Notice her extremely pushed up premature boobies it looks like she can hardly breathe.

Typos and stutters

Ok typos are excusable especially with the words like 'your' and 'you are' or 'the' and 'they' but what about stuttering and getting your tongue all tied up as though the cat has got your tongue. I don't know about the rest of the population in the world but as for me I stutter a lot when I'm trying to tell a story to someone or when I try to explain something in detailed and I know everyone IS listening to me. I guess it's coz when you are with a different group of people the way you speak or communicate varies and you tongue has to get used to it but before you know it you're already with a different group of friends talking about different things hmm...

Any ideas on how to get rid of stutters? Or the common grammatical mistakes when you speak? The one thing I know is to speak slow and clearly but come on that wouldn't make your gossips juicier =(

3 months has passed by and here I am

So yea here I am back on the island on a week break before I officially finish my internship with KLue. It has been very rejuvenating after a 3 month plus long of work. My intention back here was mainly for the presentation in college but that was just for one day. Been up to lots of chillaxing and me-time yay! Let me attempt to summarize how the 3 montsh internship went coz I don;t want to be too naggy or long-winded.

It was really fun working with a whole bunch of KL-lites who happens to be really cool. It was great to have another intern with me on the team too, Jit but he finished within 2 months and went back to UK for studies. Other friendly 'ol interns in the office are of course, Joyce the marketing intern, Melanie who replaced Joyce and Gwen, TiC intern who came in in October. And of course there's Karen TiC writer and Krystle the marketing exec. A whole bunch of awesome girls making us a wholesome bunch heheee. On the editorial team, there's of course my editor, Wai Kit, then writers Myra and Zedeck as well as Sarah the events editor.

I remembered it clearly, on my first day I spent my first 2 hours spinning on my chair and facebooking before I was given a whole load of work to follow-up. And the rest of the 3 months with KLue was history =) an extremely good experience filled with tonnes of fun and laughters. Well, all I do is not only write, write and write; I cover events on a regular basis about 3-4 events a week. Sometimes it can even be 3 events a day, you'll see me running from Damansara to KL city back to PJ. All's fun coz it keeps me occupied and the learning experience was something I'd not trade for anything else. I was suppose to finish my period here, with KLue end of October but I was offered an extension which I decide to only stay one extra month. I figured I have to do different like go look for another job or go back to studies or hmm slack..... which seems like the perfect idea for now =)

Right now I've secured myself with two jobs where I'm weighing out the options and contemplating if I should dive into the working world immediately or go back to being a laid back student hmmm well, well. Okay, before I end this post I just have to say this, a dream I had last night sorta gave me a sign (I think so la) 'my supervisor' said I was articulate and maybe they should just create a position for me. What is that suppose to mean huh? Or is it just coz I've been having too much to think these days. Toooddllesss for now let me enjoy my last few days here in Penang.

G-Force aced it!

Jerry Bruckheimer, the producer of US hit series, the CSI collection joins the big screen with...... a bunch of rodents? As spies? Whoah! whoah! Don't get taken away by this, read on about how a group of guinea pigs and a naked mole rat safe the world from destruction. Here are a few reasons to catch G-Force during this Hari Raya long weekend. WARNING! Spoiler ahead!

#1 Tired of action porn movies? G-Force is Disney's latest animation combined with high-tech spy gadgets(in micro size to fit the rodents) to make you tech junkies out there wet your pants. The highlights: an ear piece that transmit rodents' squeaky sound waves into our human language and get them to talk back to us, 3-in-1 hamster treadmill X ultra cool vehicle equipped with lightning speed, a fly/bug that is literally a bug with surveillance camera and sound recorder connected back to its base camp. Not forgetting THE gadget of the movie, thumb-sized PDA used to download and steal Saber's world domination plan which is then used to infect virus back into the super computer towards the end of the movie

#2 Be prepared for tonnes of pop culture instilled in the movie. Juarez, the only female in the team with a French accent rant about her complicated love interest typing away on her Facebook 'wall'. Lady Gaga's Just Dance and Black Eyed Peas party tracks throughout the movie. And see Bucky, the territorial hamster portraying Canadian stereotypes.

#3 Watch it in 3D! Been saving up RM16-18(prices vary between cinemas), for that one movie worth watching in 3D, forget about Final Destination 4, G-Force is a 2-in-1 movie with animation fused with real human acting. Get double of what you paid for! Personally, I thought Ice Age 3 in 3D was the bomb until I saw G-Force. The fur and features on the rodents are so real, also hooks, bullets, missiles and all sort of objects pointing directly at you makes you want to go 'No! Nooooo! Aaahhh!'

#4 Who says size does matter? The G-Force shows you wittiness and agility beats the rest. Yes, the two-face,star-nose naked mole rat is the mastermind behind all the chaos aka Mr Yanshu; but look G-Force saved the world in just a nick of time by stopping the Earth being a magnetic field attracting space garbage destroying the human kind. Guinea pigs and hamsters make adorable pets or sometimes as 'test objects'(SAY NO TO ANIMAL CRUELTY). It is proven that guinea pigs are fairly brighter than any other rodent, which explains why Jerry Bruckheimer chose this project to launch his silver screen career. Move aside hamsters, guinea pigs will top the list of kids' most favourite pets after this movie.

#5 It's a Disney movie after all, of course there is a moral to the story to be thought to kids(and everyone else). They were told that they are scientifically altered rodents but the fact is Ben, the scientist that formed G-Force, picked them up from a French restaurant (Juarez, alike rodents is a delicacy), an extermination ground (Speckles), and a petshop(Darwin). Ben, provided them a home and gave them a family. Hurley, the other non-trained, typical pet shop guinea pig G-Force member was so thankful to have found Darwin and claimed they are related because of a lookalike birth mark on their butt cheeks.

*This is how I originally wrote my piece before getting chopped by 2 editors of mine at work. If you want a sans spoiler version then log onto www.klue.com.my

Ondeh-ondeh love

These green balls coated in coconut with brown sugar as it's inti(center in blue tray) made me giggle like a little school girl when i popped one into my mouth. Coz the moment you take a bite, the brown sugar bursts all over walls of your mouth. I couldn't stop throwing in balls after balls just to feel the excitement when it bursts. You'll probably think why am i talking about kuih right now? Coz it's pasar Ramadhan season with fasting month back for the Islams. So we each had to check out 2 bazaars.

1Malaysia or not? 15Malaysia short films

15Malaysia
Yea yea it's Merdeka month so you're ought to be patriotic. All this buzz about 1Malaysia, but don't know if you've heard about 15Malaysia. It's 15 short films made by 15 film makers including the late Yasmin Ahmad, Ho Yuhang of Rain Dogs fame, Liew Seng Tat, Nam Ron, Suleiman Brothers and many more. 15Malaysia is a project made successful by singer songwriter Pete Teo and the team behind Malaysian Artistes For Unity (MAFU)-'Here in My Home'. Similar to the anti-racism song and music video Here In My Home, 15Malaysia highlights socio-political issues in Malaysia from corruption to Islamic banking to freedom of expression to the Mat Rempit phenomenon and even halal cooking. These 15 short films are released accordingly one each day on their website www.15malaysia.com and it's available for download by the public for free.

So far only 2 of the short films have been released, Potong Saga by Ho Yuhang featuring the infamous Namewee and Chocolate by Yasmin Ahmad featuring of course her favourite cheeky actress Sharifah Amani. Oh you can also add your own Malaysian related videos on the site. Log on to the website to check it out now!

I still have sore soles and sole-sores

I love how my title can be turned into a tongue twister haha.
Yea the last post I've only got picture from 2 acts up. So I gotta cover AAR, Hoobastank and etc. I'd post up videos but the are all of very very bad quality taken with my camera phone from miles away boohoo =(
Glitter-soaked Tyson screaming an orgasmic oh yeeeaaaahhh through out the set. And also their 'I wanna.... I wanna I wanna touch you' latest single. Can you say queer?

On the way to World Stage I was already thinking if they will play Swing, Swing and Dirty Little Secret coz these both are really old. I was practically jumping for joy when the chords were played and then Tyson started doing his awesone stage antics.

Hoobah! Hoobah! Loved their enigmatic set!
You guys want something to sing along to? Ok now........
(Ghostbuster tune and starts singing)

"If there's something strange
in your neighborhood
Who ya gonna call?"

audience: GHOSTBUSTERS!!!

(music stops)

You guys are ridiculous hahahaha

Oh oh and here's my exclusive collection of Raygun during my interview with them mmm bliss. They will be as famous as Coldplay somewhere in the future and I have this to brag about. I started listening to them when they were newcomers, did an interview with them, snippety snap candids and etc.

Say Em Tee Wheeeeee!!! World Stage! woot woot~

Hahahahahaaa!!! KLue sent me there. Just like Sarah, my events editor said 'usually I'll just sit and wait somehow there sure will be some extra tickets on the very last day.' So yea Joyce and I had the chance to go. She was nice enough to give me her share of the ticket so I'll have one pair, just enough to bring the airplane boy together with me =)
We took our own time to get there even it says on the ticket registration (what registration?you mean queuing up at the entrance?) starts at 3.30pm. Got to the entrance near Starbucks at 5.45pm, there were no line nothing at all for the RED zone so we decided to go chomp down some Carl's Jr.
Finally got into the 'pool' at about 6.15-6.30pm after a super long walk all the way in. I was so freaking worried they might confiscate my huge ass dslr coz it says on the back of the ticket no camera and video recorders or any other recording devices allowed. The security was shitty I'd have to say seeing it's an MTV event. Anyone in the theme park could have gotten access to the wave pool/ stage area. Estranged was the first act which we didn't bother much, such posers I hate the vocalist trying to be all cool with his hoodie covered 3/4 of his face. Raygun was the second act(or was it third? after Boys likes Girls?) but before that Utt and Denise/Taya (MTV Vjs) came out and talk a whole lot of crap before introducing them on stage. I'm so thankful I had the chance to interview this new British band that caused some controversy a week or so back regarding on their influence on music. I'll upload a picture of me and the band and might just spill some beans here in the next post. Though they are so new but geeezzz they really have stage presence and knew how to interact with the crowd. So what not everyone was singing along to their songs, at least people were grooving to their(yea I used the word groove, coz their genre is all about 70s-80s a cross between David Bowie, James Brown that era or rock and roll) psychedelic tunes! Omg! Ray, the vocalist is so cute and his mesmerizing pair of blue-ish eyes.

Next up was Pixie Lott, the seductive British songstress. She was so blonde I think her hair color, dress and skin tone match! Well, every heterosexual male and some female were screaming for her when she came out. And of course everyone was singing to her first single, 'Mama Do' not too sure about the rest coz she is very new after all. I still say she's a Duffy impersonator/wannabe hmm.....
(saving and posting it now before my stolen-connection dies off. will update more on Hoobastank and All American Rejects in the next post stay tuned.)

Friday, August 7, 2009

Whhhheeeee!!! Me want MTV World Stage passes!!!! Please send me to cover the event and I promise to be a good girl at work not like I have been lazing around in the office okayyy. It's only week one and I've been very progressive and efficient getting all my work done way before deadline. Will update about KLue in next entry not here. So bring me to MTV WS!!!!!! Pretty pleeeeeaaassseeeee coz this is like event of the year man! Why Malaysia not Singapore right? Coz Malaysia is cool like that hah! I hope they don't start banning whichever female artists who dress skimply. And also no shirt-off males *hinthint Pharell of N*E*R*D. Oh well, it's Malaysia after all and we are celebrating Merdeka(Independence Day) this month! Wooohoooo!!!
........Tanggal tiga puluh satu..... Merdeka merdeka merdeka
However the lyrics go laaaaaa......

So yeaaaaa MTV World Stage pases please =) I didn't win on fb when KLue had their contest(before I joined the team) right now it's my opportunity to be there or be square! Here are a few expecting acts that I'm going to googooogaga about:

Pixie Lott, Duffy lookalike but is way better than her and I think she's only freaking 18 like doubleyouteeeff right?!!! Can you say H-A-W-T British Blonde?

Raygun, British band to look out for besides Kasabian. Newbie but a definite burning track. There is a short clip here though but I think we can watch the video on TV or maybe it isn't available yet coz I can't seem to find any videos of it on youtube.

And lastly, of course AAR the star of the show!!! I bet 90% of the people are there just to watch them and not any other acts. Hmmm I Wanna was out way back in end of 2008 but I don't know why it only came to our radiowave recently. Weird coz usually American bands have their song played first in other countries not their own. Less competition from other American bands of similar style.

Local acts like Estranged will be playing too and many others to be announced. Bring me there!!!! 15th August at Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach, apparently they are gonna empty the man-made wave pool to turn it into a stage. *****Fingers crossed*****

Urrgghhh!!! Me wants the money laaaaaa

Okay I shouldn't think about it this way. So what if I'm not getting paid as much as the rest? At least I get to go where I want to and I bet lotsa goodies will come my way. Find find I'm trading the cash for better experience and maybe a job opportunity too if I like doing publishing at the end of the day. And I have a better place to stay with cheaper rent and not with strangers. Also Jaya One is a hangout spot so yay! I've got variety to choose from for lunch and it's near UTAR can lunch with See Mei and Kc when they start their semester. The rest of them are renting rooms instead of the entire place to themselves with no transportation and works in an office building even if it's near Midvalley so what la.

So Angelene, look at as a perk not a pay cut =(
(pat self on the shoulder boohoooo!)

YASMIN AHMAD 1958-2009

It was a shocker to hear the words of this Flyfm dj announcing Campur Chart coming up next and with him adding on, ".......this is a show dedicated to Malaysian artists and all creative Malaysians especially the late Yasmin Ahmad for her local indie movies like Sepet, Mukhsin and the latest Talentime." Our expression froze and we turned staring at each other with our mouth wide opened. It was only last Thursday that we heard she had a stroke and had to go for surgery. Over the weekend without much news said about this controversial yet touched every Malaysian soul film producer for our seasonal Petronas advertisements (this year end we will have none to look forward to) then suddenly she has passed on?!!!

All her Petronas ads are such perks during commercial breaks coz you'd have to wait till the very end to get the jist of the story. And every single one of it has the element of surprise at the very end. One of my favourite is this one during cny, it's these 2 teenage boys sitting far apart from each other both minding their own business sms-ing and the other on his psp. They both had spikey hair and had baggy clothes. Acting like strangers not talking to each other but in fact they are cousins.

There is also this Merdeka ad where a dad had to wake his son at dusk to shower him in the slump, get him dressed(combed his hair karipap style, added the putu) then cycled him all the way to town just to witnessed Tunku Abdul Rahman. While the little boy was half asleep the whole entire way especially sleeping on his dad's back on the bicycle. And the last clip, his dad carried him up on his shoulder so he can have a clearer view of the event because he was tip-toeing among the adults.

I might have gotten some of the ads wrong coz it was so many years back but look it was obviously a very efficient and creative ad coz it tapered into my mind and I can still remember it till today. Hmm I tried looking for it on youtube but can't find the same ad I'm talking about. Anyway here are few others which are equally as touching.

This reminded me of poh-poh. I miss her dearly.

Oh here is the first ad I mentioned. Now that I've re-watch it's entirely different from what I remembered. Haha the last part was cute after he got his peepee skin cut.

Ohyeeaaahhh ohhhyeeeaahh!!! Words from an almost-graduate

Double dose of papers in a day within 9-3pm, do the calculations I'm to zoinged out to do any logic right now. So glad everything was crammed into a day so I need not worry about the week anymore. I can officially say I am done with college! Done with KDU! Adious shitty rut! No it's not that I don't have good experience studying there it just took me double the time to get it all-most done. Right now I've got my 3 month internship ahead of me which I am kinda getting the kick of reality. In a week or two from now I'm going to be a working woman living on my own without mummy and daddy boohooo =........( no one to wash my laundry, mop the floor, dust the house, clean my room occasionally and most of all the naggings of staying out too late.

Wait my point is, before my thought stray to more unrelated issues I have in mind. Yea my point is when I was doing my last round of double checking my answer for my Dekstop Publishing paper I came to realized I've never mistakenly answer more questions required in any essay sections. For example you have 5 questions to choose from all you need to do is pick 2 and answer them. Amazingly I have never ever mistakenly answered all like those who DON'T READ INSTRUCTIONS or have I ever not answered the last page of question on the back of the paper like what MOST OF YOU would do haha.

The thing is I might have missed out one or two questions for short answers because I decided to skip it and go to the next question. Either I had no time to thoroughly check it through or I just forgot about the unanswered question entirely.

I am proud of myself in a way

-words from an almost-graduate =)

The hot chic+fat chic combo

Ok guys how true or how often does this happen? There's this really cute looking chic who you've been eyeing on for quite sometime and you are waiting just to take the right move to walk over there and say hi. But..... the only thing is she's always with this fat/ugly girl who happens to be her bff. What do you do? It's obvious you have to get through this not-so-attractive friend of hers first to get to her. Find a scapegoat(a buddy of yours who's willing to be a decoy, or who's willing to take the other ugly chic when you both go on double dates) haha.......

You know somewhere deep down I've always felt like the fat/ugly chic but I never let it bother me or felt unwanted. So what if guys are interested in my hot girl friends? So what I'm not the first girl that catches your attention when you enter the room. You know personality shines through! It's bigger than pam anderson's double d's. Unless your intention is to get into her pants then be my guess go ahead and oogle all you want at pam anderson's double d's =)

It will always be

When I saw the both of them hanging out together once again after so many years of losing contact(as far as I'm concerned) it seems like time never passed us and nothing has changed. She didn't go to Russia. She wasn't MIA. As though the entire 5 years did not happen. It seems even weirder when I went over to say hi and the response I got would have been the same exact thing she would say back then. The way she behaved, her body language and the laughter were all the same. We didn't go anywhere after all =) we didn't mature, we didn't go the distant, we've only gained more knowledge and maybe a couple of pounds(in my case) and saw the almost real world.

People who really matters to you will always stay the same and you can trust that they really got your back when they say so.

EYE-KEEEEEYYYYY- YAH YAH YAAAAAAHHHH!!!

Flip the switch and turn the lights off =) from green colored screen background to an all black background. It says on the site,

"An all-white screen uses about 74 watts to display, while an all-black screen uses only 59 watts. Now you know you're helpping save too."

Every now an then the IKEA website comes out with different design on the Go Green page with unique and interactive ideas for you to be apart of saving the mother earth.
Yarzzzz yarzzzz my new place *fingers crossed* is gonna be Ikea-ized =) hohohohooooo! I hope mum allows me to get a whole entire unit instead of some crummy itsy bitsy room with no ventilation and horrible strangers as my housemates. Gosh! Heeellloooo so you'd rather save a couple of hundreds and endanger my safety to who I stay with? Geeeezzzz my semester fees for the last few sems were cut to half, no less than that. And I've been studying locally so that's no way you can tell me we don't have enough to pay my rent in KL gosh parents!

I want the place to be all white with incandescent lightings and rugs lying around like some sort of hobo gathering with no furniture. Lots and lots of fluffy pillows in my room with funky curtains and bed spread. Ok I can go on and on how I want my room to be. Basically something like how my old room in the US used to look like. I can't wait I can't wait......... to snippety snap the outcome and show you my decorating skills lolllll now let's sit back and get my final project done while I try to get study tips for the final exams =)

Tooooddddlllessss good night!

Are you a talker or a doer?

So here you have someone who walks the walk and talks the talk. Then you have someone who is a NATO, the Malaysian translation of Talk Only No Action. I have no idea why the acronym is the other way around probably coz it sounds better than erm TONA hahaaaaa. I've seen and hear people around me, on TV, in the newspaper and etc. being all ambitious wanting to achieve a goal be it for long term or short term. For example a world effort decided by the UN announced that they will help poor countries like Africa, India and China to combat poverty, hunger, disease, illiteracy, environmental degradation and discrimination against women. Do you see an effort by any of your government? Let's side-track a lil, so there is this campaign "In My Name", where citizens urge their government and political leaders to take action on this promise as the deadline set by the UN is drawn nearer and nearer. With this you can sorta summarize that the people in the UN is a talker without taking any actions. It's always easier to put your goals into words than action. When you actually carry it out it is 100 times harder than you've thought of but it takes on tiny step from each of us to make this realization come true. Be a doer!

Okay back to a day-to-day related example so yea I have this friend she was so anxious and worried when she did not get a reply for some application at the very beginning when the rest of us was just too lazy to even bother about getting accepted or not. As the week past by some of got a reply, some got accepted immediately and some did not. She was still being a worry pot questioning why didn't she get at least a reply when we were told just to wait a few more weeks. I did not get my reply either so I figured maybe I should source and apply on my own coz I don't want to just sit there worry and do nothing about it. I was kinda trying to be a doer but I was lazy and hesitated along the way. And guess what it paid off looking for another application on my own. I got accepted within a week. This friend of mine waited for 3 months and is still waiting for just a reply whom she refuses to call up to double check just coz we were told to wait. When I asked her if she got anywhere else she can pull some strings to get in on her own, all she said to me was, "Oh I don't want to think about this now. I'm just going to wait. Let's not talk about this." Wow! Suddenly she couldn't be bothered about it when everyone else has already gotten a confirmed reply with acceptance. Gosh!!! Talk about a real talker huh? What is the point getting all fussed up and worried if you don't even care when it is time to take real action. Geeeezzzzz......

I'm not saying I'm all perfect and all but through out the years I've come to realized I fall in between a doer and a talker. Sometimes I'm more to a talker when it comes to realizing a vision. I will have the best brainstorm ideas on what to do and then take a bloody long period before I put my hands on it but I will somehow get my job done even if it means burning the midnight oil for days. Like I've mentioned above I'm like a lazy hesitant doer.

Urrrgghhh!!! I can't stand a wannabe doer talker.
And yes, I have friends who are doers too =) she is one extreme person who will go through all lengths to make it happen!

Kay elle weekenders

Last weekend down was for a mission =) my interview with KLue. I applied for my internship with the magazine a few weeks back and got a prompt reply from the editor asking me to go down for an interview. Fortunately the interview went amazingly smooth and I was almost hired on the spot. She said my chances were high and we even talked about the allowance which I assume they obviously want me on board or else why bother telling me how much they will pay me. So I waited till today for a confirmation from KLue but I was so anxious as it was past lunchtime and still no reply, I sent the editor a thank you letter instead then she came back to me with good news of wanting to hire me. Phhhheeeww! What a relieve! Now all I have to do is find a nice place to stay for the 3 months in KL. But but before that I obviously have to hand up my final projects and sit for the exams siiiggghhhhh aaaaaahhhhhh I can't wait for it to be over and done with.

Will probably be down in KL this weekend as well to look for a nice condo around Sunway/ Subang or SS2.

Look! What came in the mail yesterday

Got these lovely mary jane's from Memento Shoes. Got in speedy delivery right after payment and it was exactly what it looks like on the page. Very comfy indeed. For basic versatile wear suitable with any outfit at all. Wear it for an afternoon in the mall or a day in college with jeans, with skirts even with the ever trendy tights you see everywhere these days. You've gotta love it.

**Note: You might want to get 2 sizes bigger than your usual sizes. That's what I do when I buy ballet flats or mary jane's. For example if you are a size 5/36 you might want to order them in size 7/38 coz you don;t get to try them when you purchase them online.

Name me whatever that irritates you

I would say the nerdy fatboy who wouldn't stop trying to blend in with the class. Plus he had to be an arse when I asked him for the group assignment like seriously doubleuteeeff! Look at your muffin stuffed face and that retarded act of yours gosh please go get a life if they allow you to pick one. Urrrrggghhh!!! Well, at least he doesn't top the list.

There's this full of shit parking attendant who wouldn't stop talking to people who are waiting to pay their ticket. Gosh please nobody wants to hear your stories you're just another unwanted being who no one cares about. The first encounter was way back in 05 I think, I parked my car with another friend along the roadside for a session at the gym. Instead of just asking how long will we be taking he had to be all long winded as if whatever he said to us matters. He went all how he doesn't need to go to the gym bla bla blaaaaa coz he can work out right here out in the open then he started doing push-ups against some car thank goodness it was on mine or I'd have screammed at him like a mad woman. There were a few other times where he talked jibberish and I didin't care or bothered to remember what it was. Fast forward a few years, this useless piece of bastard is still writing tickets at the same spot looking still the same and he still wouldn't shut his pie hole. A few days back he was trying to be an expert telling me what I should take for my complexion yadaaa yaddaaaa using himself as am example by eating tomatoes the blemishes will go away "oh look at my face it's so smooth" like what the hell!!! Why in the world would I take dermalogical advise from a freaking parking attendant man with burnt skin, sun spot and oily skin. Fuck him urrrghhh!!! And guess what just today he was mumbling to me how this guy right in front of him wasn't sure about his own car or the time period whatever it is he was grumbling laaaaaa fucking idiot parking attendant seriously just can't keep his mouth shut. I walked away not giving a single glance back at him in the midst of the 'conversation'. I bet he didn't even realized coz he was just too busy blabbering away. What and arse for god's sake if you really love talking so much go look for another freaking job!!! Parking attendants aren't suppose to give advises, strike a conversation, complain or even say anything else besides asking you how long will you take or directing to park.
The next time he tries to open his bloody pie hole I'll swear in hokkien to shut him off!

Now/ Today/ 13th June

Sigh sigh siiiiiggghhhhhhhh tsk tsk tsk being sick isn't exactly the best feeling in the world but on a brighter note I get to stay home for 2 long days yay! I'm getting sicker by the second maybe I should be out and about instead of containing myself in my germ-filled room hmmm
Nope I did not skip classes coz I only got sick on Wednesday night which was the last day of class for the week. Geeeeezz to come to think of it I'm so doomed I have a brochure due this Tuesday and I have not laid a finger on it. I might have had the ideas, the layout and the shape of the brochure drafted in mind but that doesn't count gosh unless I finally open InDesign and start on it. So little time so much to do. And and I badly want to watch a movie in the cinema but I think I should stay away from air-conditioned places for the mean time till I recover. Okay I should go to bed now. It's weird that I don't feel the effects of drowsiness from the cough syrup I took 3 hours ago. I should just force myself to sleep them

Summer movie blockbustering

Hitting the cinemas so hard. Why?! Coz it's summer and this is the time of the year where the best movies are out =) but yea been going to the cinema very often too way before this. GSC is very happy to see me twice a week plus the visits to the kiosk to get movie treat, Caramel Combo please plus 1901 hotdogs!

Was literally dragged into the cinema to watch this but heck it was gooOOoooOod@#&%$@! Three thumbs up plus all my toes. The storyline was totally unprdictable who would have guessed Spock was thrown into a bllack hole back in time to meet Kapten Kirk, hahahhaaaa it's good to see Chris Pine play a younger version of Shatner's character lol way waayy waaaaaaayyy better looking. The effects were awesome! So love the part where Chris Pine and John Cho(Harold & Kumar! Harold and Kumar!) had to plunge down to earth to dismantle/unhook that weird thing. The thrid guy keh gau gau didn't survive dumbass! All in all good one! Didn't expect this from a TV series. Oh oh i almost forgot, look out for an ugly green fat ass chick in one of the scenes.

Then I cannot be anymore cliched watching Terminator which I really don't know what it is all about coz I'm so confused by how the hell did john connor ended up back in time looking fo Kyle Reese and I hate robots! End of story.

A few nights ago decided to watch this one whhhheeeeeeee!!! Damn funny I tell you and this installment you actually learn more history compare to the first one. Like the first woman who flew across the Atlantic ocean, Amelia Earhart, US President, Abraham Lincoln, The Wright Brothers and etc. the effects were coooooolll way cooler. And there's actually a moral of the story at the end. Oh oh and not to forget the Jonas Brothers as the cupidsssss aaawwww they were darn right adorable.

Other must-watchs when they are out whhhhheeeee!!!! I can't wait I can't wait
Don't ask me why Hannah Montana. I just want to watch it okay so shudddduuppppp =)

To post or not to post, that IS ze question

Hmmmm should I or shouldn't I link everyone to my current blogspot now? I've been writing and posting stuff on multiply for a few years now I think it's time for a change. Nope I'm not jumping on the bandwagon coz I've already got this account way before when I first started on multiply I just did not post anything up here. It was either I was too lazy or I find blogger lack of features; no photo album, videos, less friends etc. Or was it because in multiply it was less publicized hmmm you won't pop-out as much as using a blogger platform. Oh well...... so I think I should start relinking people =)

Todddlllllleeeeesssss looooooooo

Scream till you die err!

Tell me what can be any worst than having your dad at your concert and then to find out a few seconds later he died of heart attack while watching you rocking on stage. This is what happened to one of Muse's drummer, Dominic Howard's dad. You know what he said after that? He was proud that his dad watched one of their best show before he died.

Hmm whattason.

You just have to hate them

Once or twice in your life there will be people who you just have to hate and they are the ones that trigger the psychoness out of you even on a warm bright sunny day with an arc of rainbow cascading the most bluest sky you have ever seen. OK now let me list down those people who I think you need to hate.

Your gf/bf exes or your exes' gf/bf(applies if you haven't exactly gotten over them)
Your exes(applies if the both of you aren't in good terms though it has been year)
The bitch in school
Mr/Ms know it all
Retarded-ly nuisance question asking classmates
The gossip mongers
The IT girl
Fucktards
Fuckface
Snobs(I'm somebody and your a nobody)
Brats
Rich kids
Hip hoppers(those who think this is all about chics, sex, blings and glam life)
People who tries too hard

Thank you and goodnight. Will expand the list when I find more of these people.

Here's the story about the 1:45 HOUR U-TURN EXPRESSWAY Part DEUX

.........part numero UNO continues from here

Next we headed across the street to chill at The Curves. We had our blissful cupcakes and choco ice blended. What can I say? YUMYUMYUM!!! After a long tiring squeezing through people and line queuing this is the remedy to all evils. We spent almost an hour there before we decided that it's finally time to hit the highway. We snap, sip, gulp, flip, chat, flap, clap........ then off we went. Looking for the Sungai Buloh Burger King coz Joanna promised her parents to pack them back one each. The jayboy blindly followed the signs with one exhausted looking live on the backseat that fell asleep the very minute we got back on the road and one more chaboh on the passenger seat that wakes up on and off to check back on him. We took the Damansara exit instead of the usual highway going all th way back to the city coz we didn't want to endure the traffic we just went through not too many hours ago. Guess what?!!! *@!!*&*(%$!~% we phucking got lost in some kampung looking road with misleading signs that are supposed to take us back to the highway heading to Ipoh/KL. We were in Kuala freaking Selangor or were we in Sungai Buloh kampung coz we saw signs that say Sungai Buloh Penjara hohohohooooo!!!

In the midst of all these detours Joanna finally woke up feeling groggy. She asked, "Where the HECK are we?!!!" What were we suppose to say? Like god knows man! The next thing we know we finally found a small uneven road that brought us back out to Gutherie Highway. What is a Gutherie wei? But it sure seems like we are on the right track till we reached a toll. It's the bloody toll entering KL from the south. Oh-my-freaking-god we took the highway that was leading us to Johor Bahru. So we asked the toll attendant how far are we from the Sungai Buloh exit knowing that we are on the wrong side of the highway. She pointed us to the almost correct path that got the driver so confused("Sg, Buloh belum sampai lagi, selepas Rawang.") coz he was thinking looking at the high from their other approaching side. Phew we finally got to Sg. Buloh rest stop but knowing that we're on the wrong side of the highway and if we don't take a u-turn we can't get back to our journey home. We were THIS close to get to Burger King, all we needed to do now was get out of the car walk past A&W and tadaaaaa we are there. Drove past it stopped at the petrol station and I went down to asked the cashier where do we u-turn to get back to the other side of the highway. Ok! I got 2 very different answers: First, the cashier said: "Selepas tol boleh pusing balik." Then came the store manager I guess, he came out from the store room saying: "Mesti exit balik Damansara dulu." I didn't know which was the right one so being a messenger I delivered the message la. Really alamak okay if we have to go all the way back to Damansara coz it's phucking far away from where we were. When we got to the toll, the actual Sungai Buloh Plus Highway toll which consist of an amazing stretch of 20 lanes.
(BE ALERT! WE ARE ALMOST AT THE CLIMAX YO!!!!!)

Paid the toll then asked the toll person again, where is the bloody U-TURN, she was like, "Sana, tengah-tengah sana boleh u-turn." We were so alert looking for it coz it was really when she said "tengah-tengah sana", goddamnit! she was right. There was actually a tiny opening in between the stretch of 20 lanes for a U-TURN. We were on the last lane daringly cut through 10 frigging lanes to get to the center. This is where Joanna's infamous line "I'll cover" using my mini boxing gloves on a stick cum neck massager comes in. She randomly swooshed that out from the back seat pocket wound down the window and flagged cars down letting them know the suuuuuppaaaahhhh MyVi is gonna do the stunt of cutting through from lane 10 to lane 1 to get to the middle. And then the process repeat coz we had to get to the lane at the very end for the other side of the highway too as the 'Lorong Tunai' is at the very end. Gosh gosh gish gush mush lush bush aaAAaaahHHHhh I was screaming "FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! SHITTTTTT THERE'S A CAR COMIIIIIINNNGGGGG ON THE LEFT NOOOOOOOO!!!!!" The Jayster sorta had that look that he was gonna pee in his pants on his face and LOL cold sweat was running down his forehead.
Pheewwww!!! We survived thank god! Isn't it obvious I'm now here telling you what actually happened. Mission accomplished when we finally got to the Restoran Jejantas Sg. Buloh on the correct side of the highway. Jo bought he desired BKs plus some other side orders and we got another burger to share to ease the thumping heart plus a yummylicious BK ice-cream cone. We were occupying the best seats in the house eagerly catching our movie: The Federal Highway at BK. Superb view from our spot, comfy seats with good snacks LOL

Jangejo's Journey to the Center or BK and Federal

The ratings for THIS entire movie/journey on the highway is as stated as below together with the genre and budget of the film.

And the actors are:

Joanna Kwan Shyu Chi

Angelene Tang Mei Yee

Sanjay Subramaniam

aka the Jangejos!!!

Lastly, presenting to you the STAR of the entire journey. We wouldn't have gotten anywhere without it. MyWHEEEEEEEE!!!

We all finally got home just a little past midnight. What a trip?! It took us half a day 12 HOURS for a usual 4 hours drive home. Shucks but it's priceless. Try it yourself especially the 20 lanes stunt.

Am I or am I not? Hohohohoooooo!!!

Sexy Popular Giirl
Everyone knows you. You look great and know this. You use this advantage and sometimes get in trouble with jealous girls because of that. You have many friends, female like male, but no or only a few really deep relationships. You don't know that theres a beauty inside of every woman, that is deeper than any physical beauty. Try to find your inner strengths and charme so you can shine from the inside out. :) Try to be kind and helpfull. Don't always think about yorself or your look - it is the inner woman people are waiting to see of you!

Here's the story about the 1:45 HOUR UTURN EXPRESSWAY Part numero UNO

So the jangejos (Sanjay, Angelene and Joanna) took a 3 day trip down to the city. The journey down was a-okay like any other road trips. However the series of unexpected events that occur was uncountable. Let me start at the point I can remember or that very point that seems to be the climax of our story. So it was Sunday, time for us to drive back. I said and made the boy promise to get us back in Penang by afternoon. Us being us the lazy bums that sleep till the sun rises up straight in the sky. We woke up at about 11.30am, showered, packed, got ready and checked out of the hotel.

Of course we had to have our BK (Burger King) before leaving KL, so we munched and chomped down our BK lunch. I had my Single Black Pepper Whopper, Jo had Mushroom Swiss I guess and the greedy Jayboy had to order his all time favourite Double Whopper with cheese. We also ordered extra Chicken Tenders coz they are the yummers way better than KFC nuggets or even McD nuggets. (OMG!~ I look so chinky out from the kampung in this pic)

We had our tummy filled we were content but Jo had to ta pau some burgers back for her la familia but she didn't want to get them in the BK in Subang knowing that there's another BK on the highway, Restoran Jejantas, Sg. Buloh. As we walked out the BK in Subang, we saw this Malay dude lying dead right in front of where we parked. He was sleeping/fainted/drunk right under some shady trees. We figured he wasn't dead or robbed since he still had his cool black looking Converse on his feet. Then we saw him changed position so we left him and didn't call the police.

After having lunch we were still early so 'someone' suggested we should watch a movie or in Cineleisure. On we go thinking that we are driving to Damansara and hah! kaboom we took a wrong turning had to travel all the way to the city instead. Stressful weekend traffic in the city got us stuck there for a whole 45 minutes or so. As we've already wasted time there so we decided not to catch a movie but to walk around in Ikea for the clearance sale they are having fro the month. And yes! When we got there we got stuck in between again for another whole 20 freaking minutes just to get into the car park. When we got to the Ikea entrance these donkeys wanted to smoke so they stood outside puffing and I was nicely enjoying the breezy air condition inside LOL yay! And zhen the both of them was suddenly so intrigued by this magic-a-thingy:

I call it the Smokalator 3000. Smoke/vapour/smog/air was literally coming out of it. How is that possible when you kill your cigarettes on the grills on top and then throws the bud inside. Hmm the only possibility is there's water in this tank looking thingy. But........ smoke/vapour/smog/air keeps on blowing out non-stop. So what is this actually? Ikea was so crowded filled with families especially kids running around thinking it's a playground. Goodness gracious! The queue was HORRORble, luckily we got into the fast lane, paid and chao-ed. Jo got most of the aunty-ish stuff her mum told her to get so did the Jay he bought household stuff for his grandma. As for me I bought some usual nonsense, multi-purpose organizer in various colors and a lint roller LOL "Why the heck do you need that? You don't even have a doggie, Angelene!" Joanna shouted at me for picking that up.

........ to be continue look out for part Deux
